Nic Townsend is a composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist based in Nasvhille, TN.  He holds a Bachelor of Music in composition from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Music in composition from Baylor University. Throughout his compositional career, he has dedicated himself to developing a style that seamlessly fuses compositional techniques of concert music with harmonic and rhythmic elements from jazz and metal.  He has received numerous commissions for works ranging from chamber ensembles to concert band.
